Baku Tour: The City of Fire and History, with Turkish Airlines for 3 Nights 4 Days 2027

Day 1: Istanbul-Baku  

We meet at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at 05:35. After our ticket and baggage procedures, we depart for Baku at 08:35 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 332. After arriving in Baku at 10:30 local time, we complete our passport and customs procedures and start our panoramic Baku city tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. During the city tour, we see the Heydar Aliyev Center, which is noted for its modern architecture, and then we take short photo breaks at Flag Square and Baku Boulevard. After the tour, we proceed to our hotel, complete our check-in procedures, and settle into our rooms. In the evening, guests who wish can join the Baku Old Town Evening Tour and Azerbaijan Night program organized by our guide as an extra. Overnight at our hotel.

In the evening, we depart from our hotel to the historical heart of Baku, the Old City (Icheri Sheher) area. During our walking tour in this unique area, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, we have the opportunity to closely see the narrow stone streets, historical caravanserais, and medieval architecture. During our tour, we see the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, and the historical city walls panoramically, and we receive information about Baku's historical and cultural fabric with our guide's narrations. After photo breaks, we stroll along Nizami (Targovi) Street, which resembles Istanbul's Istiklal Avenue. Targovi, one of the most vibrant and popular areas of the city, is the center of social life in Baku with its shops, boutique stores, cafes, and restaurants. Thanks to its elegant structures reflecting 19th-century European architecture and lively atmosphere, it is an ideal spot for both shopping and pleasant walks. We have the opportunity to closely experience Baku's modern face with street performers and brightly lit shop windows. Then we move to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Baku, the Highland Park. Here, after seeing the Martyrs' Lane, the Turkish Martyrdom, and the Flame Towers, we take unforgettable photos while observing the Caspian Sea, Baku Boulevard, and the city's modern skyline panoramically. In the continuation of our program, we experience Azerbaijan Night in a traditional restaurant where you can taste the exquisite flavors of Azerbaijani cuisine while enjoying live music. This program, blended with traditional rhythms, local flavors, and the enchanting night atmosphere of Baku, will be one of the most unforgettable moments of your trip. Transfer back to our hotel at the end of the program.

Day 2: Baku

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the Absheron Peninsula Tour organized by our guide as an extra. After our tour, guests who wish can participate in the Caspian Sea Boat Tour. Transfer back to our hotel at the end of the program. Overnight at our hotel.

Extra Tour: Absheron Peninsula Tour – 70 Euro per person.

We start our tour with the Absheron Peninsula. Our first stop is the Ateshgah Temple, one of the three Zoroastrian temples in the world. This sacred structure, considered a pilgrimage center for Zoroastrians throughout history, captivates visitors with its impressive architecture, spacious courtyard, and mystical atmosphere. Then we visit the Fire Mountain, one of Azerbaijan's most interesting natural formations, which Marco Polo referred to as the "Land of Fire." We closely observe the flames that have been burning for centuries due to natural gas emerging from the ground, take unique photos, and experience firsthand why Azerbaijan is called the "Land of Fire." This tour, where nature, history, and legends meet, is one of Azerbaijan's most impressive experiences.

Extra Tour: Caspian Sea Boat Tour – 50 Euro per person.

In the enjoyable boat tour we will conduct in the Caspian Sea, the jewel of Azerbaijan, we explore the modern skyline of the city from the sea.

The tour we will take, accompanied by the Flame Towers, the Boulevard, modern Baku architecture, and the azure views of the Caspian, offers guests a unique experience both for relaxation and photography. This tour, which integrates with the city's lights, is one of the must-do activities during a visit to Baku.

Day 3: Baku

After breakfast at the hotel, free time.

Guests who wish can join the Gobustan, Mud Volcanoes, and Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center Tour organized by our guide as an extra. After our tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Our first stop is Gobustan National Park, located about 60 km south of Baku and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Then we move to the Mud Volcanoes region, one of Azerbaijan's world-famous geological riches. With approximately 300 of the 700 mud volcanoes in the world located in Azerbaijan, the country is one of the geographies where this natural wonder is most densely seen. In fact, geologists working on Mars at NASA have noted that the formations in the region resemble some areas on the surface of Mars. We closely observe the hot mud eruptions and gas bubbles in the area where the volcanoes are located, receiving detailed information from our guide about the region's formation, geological structure, and historical significance. After our visit to Gobustan, we turn our route towards the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, a symbol of modern Azerbaijan. This unique structure, designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, is one of the most important symbols of Baku with its fluid architecture. Inside the center, there are not only cultural and artistic exhibitions but also a classic car collection that attracts great interest from visitors. You can closely see and photograph meticulously restored Soviet classic cars from the 1940s to the 1970s, rare models like Volga, Moskvich, and Chaika from the USSR period, and official vehicles used in state protocol. This section offers a highly impressive experience for classic car enthusiasts and nostalgia lovers.

Day 4: Baku – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of our rooms and enjoy free time until our flight time.

We transfer to Baku Airport at the time determined by our guide. We depart for Istanbul at 22:00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 335. After a comfortable flight, we arrive at Istanbul Airport at 00:15 the next day.
