Grand Italy Tour: 5 Nights 6 Days with AJet Airlines (Rome-Bergamo)

We meet our esteemed guests at the AJet Airlines counter at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Departures Terminal at 08:00. We depart for Rome at 11:20 on AJet Airlines flight VF72. After our arrival at 12:10, we set off for our city tour with our private bus, exploring the most important historical sites of Rome, the capital of Italy and world history, in a panoramic manner. Our first stop is the Colosseo (Colosseum) and the adjacent Arch of Constantine. Then we enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the Capitoline Hill and the view of the Roman Forum. We see the “Mouth of Truth” statue at Piazza della Bocca della Verità, and reach the banks of the Tiber River by passing in front of the ancient Teatro Marcello. Our tour ends with the view of Castel Sant’Angelo adorning the river. After our tour, guests who wish can join the Angels & Demons Tour organized by our guide. Transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight stay at our hotel in Rome.

In our walking tour where we will explore the history, art, and faith heritage of Rome, we will see Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia, and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument; the Four Rivers Fountain in Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and Piazza del Popolo will be visited. In the last part of the tour, we will proceed to the Vatican to see St. Peter's Square and the exterior of the basilica. If security checks, queue density, religious ceremonies, and the daily practices of the Vatican allow, entry to St. Peter's Basilica will also be made. The visit inside the basilica can be done in an individual tour format; guided narration may not be possible inside.

We start our tour in the Ancient City of Pompeii, which was buried under ashes due to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. After exploring the stone streets, houses, shops, baths, frescoes, and mosaics with a licensed local guide, we proceed to Naples. In Naples, Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theater, Umberto Gallery, and the historic center will be seen panoramically. During free time, you can try Naples' famous street foods and traditional pizza.

After sunset, the enchanting historical silhouette of Rome illuminated by lights greets you with a unique atmosphere during our night tour. In the panoramic city tour we will conduct with our comfortable bus, you will embark on a pleasant journey among the historical buildings and impressive squares of Rome, which take on a completely different beauty at night. While discovering the romantic and enchanting night atmosphere of the city, you will have the opportunity to see a completely different side of Rome compared to the daytime.

After having breakfast, we set off towards Florence. On the way, guests who wish can join the Pisa Tour. Florence, known as the birthplace of the Renaissance in history, is one of the most important cultural centers in the world, not just in Italy. This city, which rose under the patronage of the Medici family, is a center where many geniuses such as Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, and Botticelli were born and created their works. It has also played a pioneering role in banking, textiles, and art throughout history; it served as the capital of the Italian Kingdom for a period. We will have the opportunity to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of the symbols of Italy, up close. After the tour, guests will be given free time for photography and exploring the surroundings. After breakfast at the hotel, we set off towards Venice. Guests who wish can join the Verona Tour organized by our guide on the way. After the tour, we proceed to Venice. We move to the historic island via vaporetto from Tronchetto port, the last transportation point for vehicles. After an enjoyable Vaporetto ride, we disembark near St. Mark's Square, the historical center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. All motor vehicles, such as police, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc., which we are used to seeing in daily life, have been replaced by boats here. During our walk along Riva degli Schiavoni (Slaves' Shore), one of the iconic points of Venice, we see the Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri), San Giorgio Maggiore Island, the exterior of the Doge's Palace, and the two historical columns symbolizing the entrance to the city panoramically. After our walk, we reach St. Mark's Square, the heart of Venice and one of the most magnificent squares in the city. We explore Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the walking tour, we will see Piazza Bra, Arena di Verona, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, the Scaliger Tombs, and Juliet's House with its famous balcony from the outside. After the narration by the guide, there will be free time to explore the historical streets of the city, shop, or take a short break.

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Milan. After arriving in Milan, our city tour will include Castello Sforzesco, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Duomo Cathedral, and the fashion district of the city, seen panoramically. After the narration by the guide, there will be free time in the city center. After free time, guests who wish can join the Lake Como & Towns Tour organized by our guide. After our tour, we proceed to our hotel for an overnight stay in Milan.
