Day 1: Istanbul - Ohrid
We meet at the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul airport, 3 hours before our flight time. At 10:35 AM, we depart for Ohrid on Turkish Airlines flight TK1009. After a comfortable flight, we arrive in Ohrid at 11:15 AM local time, and after completing our entry procedures, we set out to explore the historic city of Ohrid, one of the significant centers of the Ottoman period, with our private vehicle waiting for us. Among the places we will see during the tour are the monument of Saints Cyril and Methodius, who developed the Cyrillic Alphabet in the 9th century, and important structures like the Church of St. Sophia. We will also have the opportunity to stroll around the central Çınar Square and visit the Turkish Bazaar from the Ottoman period.
Day 2: Ohrid - Tirana - Shkodra
We start the day with breakfast and then proceed to our city tour. We will take a tour introducing the historic city of Ohrid. Among the places to see are the monument of Saints Cyril and Methodius, who developed the Cyrillic Alphabet in the 9th century, and the Church of St. Sophia. We will also have the opportunity to stroll around Çınar Square and visit the Turkish Bazaar from the Ottoman period. Here, you can get to know the city's cultural structure more closely by visiting the Halveti Tekke. Afterward, you will have the chance to observe local life by visiting the New Bazaar and Ohrid Market. Finally, we will see the magnificent view of Lake Ohrid.
Day 3: Shkodra - Prizren - Pristina - Skopje
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head towards Prizren, known as the cultural capital of Kosovo. Upon arrival, we begin to explore the narrow streets of Prizren, reflecting Ottoman architecture. We will visit important structures in the city, such as the Sinan Pasha Mosque. Other significant sites we will see include the Halveti Tekke, the Flag Mosque, and the Mehmet Pasha Bath. After our free time in Prizren, we move towards Kosovo's capital, Pristina. Upon our arrival in Pristina, we will begin to explore the modern and historical aspects of the city.
Day 4: Skopje - Belgrade
We start the day with breakfast and then embark on a pleasant journey to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Throughout history, Belgrade has been one of the important cultural and strategic centers of the Balkans, noted for its vibrancy and historical texture. In this enchanting city, we will explore the points where Ottoman and European cultures intersect. After arriving in Belgrade, we will embark on a panoramic city tour to see all the beauties of the city. Here, you can feel the historical atmosphere and discover the texture that combines Belgrade's past and present. Afterward, we head to the point where the Sava River meets the Danube River.
Day 5: Belgrade - Sarajevo
After breakfast, we head towards Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, we will explore Sarajevo, known as the cultural center of the Balkans for centuries and the place where World War I broke out after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary by Serbs in 1914. Although it suffered great devastation during the war in 1992, Sarajevo has managed to preserve its beauty. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the famous Baščaršija, the historic Ottoman caravanserai Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral, the Synagogue, and the Hüsrev Bey and Ferhadiye Mosques, as well as the site of the assassination of Franz Ferdinand in 1914.
Day 6: Sarajevo - Počitelj - Blagaj - Mostar - Sarajevo
We start the day with breakfast and then depart from Sarajevo. Our first stop will be Mostar, famous for its historical and cultural riches. Here, we will see the Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, a student of Mimar Sinan, and one of the finest examples of Ottoman architecture. This bridge was destroyed during the war in 1992 but was rebuilt in 2004 with the contributions of the Republic of Turkey, becoming a symbol of Mostar. Surrounding this elegantly arching bridge that connects both sides of the Neretva River, we will have the opportunity to explore the historical bazaar and stone streets. We will experience the enchanting atmosphere of Mostar.
Day 7: Sarajevo - Istanbul
After breakfast, we check out of our rooms and have free time until the transfer time. We transfer to Sarajevo Airport. After completing the boarding procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 20:35 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1026. After a comfortable flight, our tour ends with our arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:35. If sufficient participation is not provided for the trip; the Agency has the right to cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour date. In this case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest, and the tour fee will be fully refunded. Refunds for additional services taken outside the tour; the domestic flight connection ticket obtained from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest. If visa services and travel health insurance have been used to apply for a visa, refunds for these services are not possible.
