• Our agency is responsible for all tours and organizations mentioned in this program.
• The departure times specified by the guide are definite and binding for all participants. To avoid disruption of the program, a maximum waiting time of 15 minutes may be applied after the specified time. If the waiting time is exceeded, the vehicle will depart, and any requests for refunds or compensation due to the participant's inability to continue the tour will not be accepted.
• Tour program information and departure details will be sent to your registered contact information before the tour date. Our agency is not responsible for any disruptions caused by incomplete or incorrect reporting of contact information.
• If the required number of participants is not reached for the tour to take place, our agency reserves the right to cancel the tour with at least 2 days' notice. In this case, the paid fees will be fully refunded.
• The guide or our agency may make changes to the program flow, visit order, and departure times in accordance with weather conditions, traffic density, road conditions, official authority decisions, force majeure, and operational requirements.
• Changes or time restrictions may occur on the specified routes in the program due to traffic and regional density that may occur during holidays, official holidays, semester breaks, and similar busy periods.

• It is mandatory to adhere to the departure times specified by the guide. Our agency is not responsible for any disruptions in the program due to delays caused by participants.

event Day 2 — Adana, Sabancı Central Mosque, Stone Bridge, Antakya, St. Pierre Church, Necmi A...

After meeting with our esteemed guests, we start our journey for the Izmir Departure Northern Mesopotamia Gap Tour. After a break at the Afyon Kolaylı Rest Area, we continue our journey and head towards Adana after an extra breakfast break at Pozantı Demireller Rest Area. First, we see the Historical Stone Bridge, which is among the symbols of Adana built over the Seyhan River. Then we visit the Sabancı Central Mosque, built on the banks of the Seyhan River with its six minarets and majestic structure. After our visits, we depart from Adana. Along the way, we will see the İncirlik Air Base panoramically, Yılankale, another place where the legend of Şahmeran is told, Ceyhan, Dörtyol, and İskenderun. Passing through Belen, we take photos of the Amik Plain from above and reach Antakya, the heart of Hatay. Here, we first visit the St. Pierre Church, which is considered the first church in the world due to its central role in the spread of Christianity, and the Necmi Asfuroğlu Archaeology Museum, which was created after approximately 30,000 artifacts were transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism during the construction of a hotel. This museum is also famous for hosting the World's Largest Single Piece Floor Mosaic. After our museum visit, we go to Pöç Kasabı located in the historic Uzunçarşı to taste the famous flavors of Hatay. Here you will have the opportunity to try Tepsi kebabı, Kağıt Kebabı, Künefe. (Extra) After the lunch break, our guide will organize an Extra tour of the Samandağı Titus (Vespasian) Tunnel depending on the time and weather conditions. After our extra tour, we turn towards Gaziantep, known as the Paris of Southeastern Anatolia. Our first stop in Gaziantep, which was awarded the title of "Gazi" on February 8, 1921, will be the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where the mosaics of Roman generals' villas rescued from the submerged city of Zeugma under the waters of the Birecik Dam are exhibited. After seeing the Çingene Kızı and all other mosaics, our first sightseeing spots will be Gaziantep Castle and the 14 Martyrs Monument, built in memory of the children who fell at the Dokurcum Mill. Then we will see the Bakırcılar Bazaar, Yemeniciler Arasta, Almacı Market, Sedefciler Bazaar, and Tahmis Coffeehouse. During our free time here, you can enjoy Menengiç Coffee and shop for Pistachios, Copper, and Yemenis. After completing our historical bazaar tours in Gaziantep, we will have the opportunity to shop from the most famous baklava shop in Gaziantep, Ayıntap Baklava. After our free time, we proceed to our hotel, where dinner and accommodation will be provided.

event Day 3 — Halfeti Boat Tour, Birecik Dam, Kral Kızı Cave, Rum Castle, Adıyaman, Kahta, Mou...

On the 3rd day of our Izmir Departure Northern Mesopotamia Gap Tour, after breakfast at our hotel in Gaziantep, we will first head to Halfeti, most of which is submerged under the waters of the Birecik Dam and where the Karagül Series was filmed. Here, we will first reach Halfeti Port and board our boat. During our approximately 1-hour (Extra) Boat Tour, we will see the Kral Kızı Cave, the Rum Castle, where John, one of the apostles of Jesus, settled, and then we will see the submerged Mosque and minaret in Savaşan Village, and return to Halfeti, which is said to have taken its name from the story of two young people named Halil and Fatma. We will then head towards Adıyaman Kahta. After our extra lunch, we will start our Nemrut Mountain Sunset tour with minibuses waiting for us here (Extra). The main sites we will visit along the way will be Karakuş Tumulus and Cendere Bridge. After our joyful journey filled with local folk songs, we will ascend Mount Nemrut to watch the sunset. The most important elements of the mountain are the Tumulus of King Antiochos of Commagene and other sacred areas. At the summit, we will first see the statues of I. Antiochos, Zeus, Apollo, Heracles, Commagene, Eagle, and Lion located on the Eastern Terrace. While listening to our guide's explanations here, you will also be enchanted by the magic of Nemrut. After seeing the Peace Altar of the Eastern Terrace, we will move to the Western Terrace and first see the Peace Altar of the Western Terrace and the Lion Horoscope. After leaving this magnificent view behind, we return to Kahta, then board our bus and proceed to our hotel, where dinner and accommodation will be provided.

event Day 4 — Nissibi Bridge, Diyarbakır, Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Museum, Diyarbakır Ulu Mosque, 1...

On the 4th day of our Izmir Departure Northern Mesopotamia Gap Tour, after breakfast at our hotel, we head towards Diyarbakır. Crossing the Nissibi Bridge, built over the Atatürk Dam Lake in 2015, we arrive in Diyarbakır. We are heading to Diyarbakır, known as the oldest city in Southeastern Anatolia. In Diyarbakır, we first visit the house of Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, one of the important figures in our literary world, known for his poem 35 yaş, which now serves as a museum. This house is also one of the finest examples of Diyarbakır civil architecture. We visit the Diyarbakır Ulu Mosque, believed to be one of the oldest mosques in Islamic history, established in Anatolia and a Harem-i Sharif. We see the Keçi Burcu, the oldest of the Diyarbakır walls, which has a history of 9000 years, the date of construction and the civilization that commissioned it are unknown. Looking towards the Tigris River, we see and photograph the 10 Eyed Bridge built over the Tigris River and the Hevsel Gardens. After seeing Mardin Gate and Yeni Kapı panoramically, we head towards Hasankeyf via Batman. If our guide manages to gather enough participants and allocate time, an Extra tour of Malabadi Bridge will be organized. We will see Batman, where the first oil well in Turkey is located, panoramically and have a very delicious lunch in this modern city. (Extra) After lunch, we arrive at Hasankeyf, which is submerged under the waters of the Ilısu Dam. After the dam construction, this unique city was divided into New Hasankeyf and Old Hasankeyf. We will have the opportunity to visit both parts. First, we will visit the El Rızık Mosque, Sultan Süleyman Mosque, and Zeynel Bey Tomb, which were relocated from Old Hasankeyf to New Hasankeyf. After our visits here, an indescribable experience awaits us. With our Extra Hasankeyf Boat Tour, we will dive into the depths of Old Hasankeyf. During our approximately 45-minute tour, we will remember the memories of Old Hasankeyf. After completing our visit to Hasankeyf, we head towards Midyat, which offers a visual feast. On the 5th day of our Izmir Departure Northern Mesopotamia Gap Tour, after breakfast at our hotel, we start exploring Mardin, which is described as “Gerdanlık at Night, Seyranlık by Day”. Our first sightseeing spot will be Kasımiye Medrese. After enjoying this magnificent structure and listening to our guide's explanations, we will get off our bus at Diyarbakır Gate and take minibuses (extra) to reach Republic Square, from where we will explore Mardin on foot. We will finish our Mardin City Tour by seeing the famous Ulu Mosque with its minaret, Latifiye Mosque, Covered Bazaar, Old Government Mansion, Abbaras, Şahtana Mansion, and Şehidiye Mosque, and Old PTT Building. After the free time given, we will meet our vehicle at Savur Gate and head to Deyr-ul Zaferan Monastery, built on top of a Sun Temple from the 5th century. Here, we will visit the House of Saints, which contains the graves of 52 Patriarchs and Metropolitans, St. Hananyo Church, and Mary Mother Church. After the monastery visit, we will take a break for lunch (Extra). After the break, we will leave Mardin and head towards Dara Ancient City, located 30 kilometers southeast of Mardin in Oğuz Village. Historically one of the most important settlements in Upper Mesopotamia, Dara was established in 505 AD as a military garrison city to protect the eastern border of the Eastern Roman Empire against the Sasanids, initiated by Emperor Anastasius (491-518). Remnants of churches, palaces, bazaars, dungeons, artillery, and water channels can still be seen within the city. After our extra tour, we head towards Şanlıurfa for an evening entertainment. Accommodation will be at our hotel. We will participate in the Sıra Night, which is an essential part of all our Gap tours organized by GEZİ TUTKUNLARI, where we can experience the local culture and taste its traditional dishes. policy Cancellation Policy

Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before. In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty will be applied, and a 100% penalty will be applied if canceled 20 days or less before. When a participant requests cancellation due to health reasons, they must present a report obtained from State Hospitals in Turkey (signed by the Chief Physician). Note: In programs with flights, reservations cannot be canceled or refunded as cancellations cannot be made by the airline.

Additional Information

General Information for All Tours:

1-Participants are dropped off at the point where they boarded the vehicle. There will be no stopping or dropping off passengers at different points outside the program. The start and end times of the tour may not coincide with public transport times. Participants are obliged to plan accordingly. The times stated on the website are for informational purposes. The exact meeting time, departure point, and guide information will be communicated via SMS or written notification before the tour. If the notification is not received, it is the participant's responsibility to contact the office.

2-The agency reserves the right to change the program due to weather conditions, road conditions, official authority decisions, force majeure, or operational requirements.

3-The agency is not responsible for forgotten, lost, or stolen items during the tour. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.

4-The type of vehicle used in the tours is determined according to the number of participants.

5-The agency cannot be held responsible for tours and activities that are not permitted by local authorities or cannot be carried out for security reasons.

6-If the required number of participants is not reached for the tour to take place, the tour may be canceled with at least 2 days' notice before the tour date.

7-Child discounts are valid for children under 12 years old, provided they share a room with two adults.

8-Our agency reserves the right to change hotels of the same standard.

9-Room allocation and room type are determined by the hotel management. The agency does not have discretion over room selection or floor selection.

10-In triple rooms, the third bed may not be a standard bed. A foldable extra bed or sofa bed may be provided.

11-Mandatory travel insurance is provided in the tours. Participants must declare their correct date of birth and T.C. identity number. Participants are responsible for the consequences of incorrect declarations.

12-The agency is not responsible for tours that cannot be conducted due to unforeseen reasons (weather conditions, traffic, density, etc.) or non-compliance with the times specified by the guide.

13-The guide has the right to make necessary changes according to the flow of the program.

14-During holidays and busy periods, accommodation may be made in different hotels of the same standard. If necessary, the group may be split.

15-Verbal statements are not valid. The details written in the tour program and the requests communicated in writing (via email) are taken as basis.

16-Participants are deemed to have read and accepted these conditions during the reservation. It is the participant's responsibility to follow website updates. The website and Package Tour Agreement are an inseparable whole.

17-Our agency may change the tour program based on seasonal conditions, road works, operational requirements, and service quality evaluations. The most recently published program is valid.

18-Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing. The deduction rates specified in the Package Tour Agreement will be applied based on the cancellation date. The refund rules for transportation, flights, ferries, etc. are subject to the conditions of the relevant company.

19-The agency cannot be held responsible for cancellations or changes due to force majeure such as pandemics, natural disasters, wars, terrorism, strikes, border closures, and official authority decisions. In these cases, the provisions of the applicable legislation will apply.

20-For international tours, the validity period of the passport, visa procedures, exit fees, and entry conditions to the country are entirely the participant's responsibility. The agency is not responsible for any issues that may arise at border crossings.

21-Price updates may be made until the tour date based on currency fluctuations, fuel prices, taxes, and fees.

22-The realization of extra tours depends on sufficient participation and regional conditions. The agency is not responsible for extra tours that cannot be conducted.

23-If the times specified by the guide are not adhered to, the guest is obliged to join the tour program at their own expense. Any additional expenses incurred will be borne by the participant.

24-Photos and videos taken during the tour may be used in promotional and marketing activities.
