policy Cancellation Policy

GENERAL TERMS 1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from the tour program. 2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not provided; Wtatil can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The total tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic connection flight purchased from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest, visa services, and travel health insurance will not be refunded if a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest, as these services will be considered used; if no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be canceled, and a refund will be made. If the guest has purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of Wtatil, in the event of the tour being canceled by Wtatil, the guest cannot request any refund from Wtatil. The guest accepts in advance any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible. 3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not provided, Wtatil has the right to show goodwill and not cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guiding service will only cover the airport transfer for the international round trip. Cancellation and Change 4- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date will be reflected as a penalty for these flight ticket fees, which do not have cancellation & change and refund rights. 5- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, provided they notify Wtatil in writing at least 30 days before the tour departure date, except for flight tickets that have been paid and/or committed to the airline. If there are less than 31 days remaining until the trip start date, they can cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the flight ticket price, and if there are 15 days or less remaining until the trip start date, they can cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. In case of cancellation requests, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connection, visa services, travel health insurance may vary according to the time of the cancellation request, so it is necessary to inquire in advance about the refund. Wtatil cannot make any commitments for the cancellation refund of additional services. Guiding Services and Extra Tours 6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the places to be visited and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours. 7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are maximum 2-3 hour tours conducted with a guide's narration from the vehicle, excluding museum and archaeological site entries. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, will not be held if local authorities do not allow entry or if the tour cannot be conducted due to closed roads for any event, as well as in cases where it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions, Wtatil is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where closed roads or vehicle entry is not permitted. 8- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours depending on the number of participants and the closure status of the museum and archaeological site, and this also applies to any changes in flight times. 9- For our tours to be conducted with Speed Boats, the following points should be noted; heavy meals should not be consumed just before boarding the boat, and excessive amounts of water should not be drunk. Guests with stomach, back, neck complaints, and pregnant guests should inform their guides of their conditions. 10- There is no refund for participation in the services of the tour or meal services included in the prices if not attended. About Flights 11- Wtatil is an intermediary agency between the airline and the passenger, and in case of possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will apply. 12- There may be delays or changes in flight times for scheduled and special flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times. 13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee. 14- According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of round-trip purchased flight tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline. 15- For those participating in tours with flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal transactions, and these procedures must be carried out by the guest at the airports, at the relevant airline counters, or online on the airline's websites before the flight. 16- Last-minute delays and gate changes in flights are announced audibly at the airports and displayed on the information boards in the area. This information should be followed by the guests themselves. 17- Wtatil is not responsible for guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times indicated by the airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, and who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss the flight are their own responsibility. 18- The general baggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this baggage weight may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil. 19- For our guests who wish to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade procedures can be performed depending on the availability of the airline (check your airline membership) after the tickets are issued. No mileage guarantee is provided for each flight. Please check whether the tickets for the program are in an upgradeable class. 20- In some airlines, food and drink and online check-in services may be subject to extra charges. Other Matters 21- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made by the guest directly contacting the hotel. In this case, Wtatil's cancellation conditions will apply. 22- In cases where the hotel(s) are specified only by category information without mentioning names in the tour program and/or offered as options for the same destination, Wtatil will inform the guest 48 hours before the trip departure. 23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, Wtatil will inform 15 days before the tour departure date. 24- During the registration for the purchased tour; the name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in the passport must be entered/declared correctly in the system by the guest. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalty fees for cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests. 25- To be able to use your mobile phones abroad, please check with your service provider before leaving Turkey to ensure that your phone is enabled for international use. 26- The hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00. 27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Care is taken to ensure that the reserved rooms are in accordance with the guest's preferences according to the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil. 28- The breakfast offered at hotels may differ from the rich breakfast traditionally served in Turkish cuisine. Generally, it is served with limited options consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated for groups. 29- In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of a twin room. Most European hotels offer twin rooms that can be combined if necessary. 30- The child and extra bed policy may vary by hotel and room types. 31- Any additional bed and baby cot will be provided upon request and according to the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel. 32- The capacity for additional beds or baby cots in the room is 1 (maximum). 33- In triple rooms, there is an application for an additional bed, and the bed allocated for the 3rd person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed. Additional beds consist of folding and coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have accepted the potential crowding and bed type due to additional beds to be added to standard rooms in their triple room and/or child reservations. 34- If the number of children staying with adults and the ages of the children are incorrectly declared by our guests in hotel reservations, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the ages of children. 35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are only valid if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply to the age group that matches the “single child” staying with 2 adults. 36- Daily exchange rates are reflected in the TL prices. The rates at the time of payment are valid. Any additional requests and some extra services (minibar, ironing, etc.) at the hotel may be subject to extra charges. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay. 37- Some countries have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. All kinds of city, tourism, or other taxes that are applied in this way are collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or exit. 38- The road distances given in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the visited country, road works, and conditions. 39- Wtatil may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be flown without disrupting the content of the program in mandatory situations or when deemed necessary. 40- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities of the participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the case of forgotten items being found, the costs incurred during their delivery to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner. 41- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any medications and reports related to health issues with them. 42- For possible extra expenses, upon check-in at the hotel, a photo ID/passport issued by official institutions and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel. The return of the deposit requested at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no intervention in this matter. Visa and Passport 43- Visa application is required for Turkish citizens. 44- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel. 45- At customs crossings/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport for the entry-exit stamp to be applied. 46- Being exempt from a visa for entry into the countries in this tour does not mean that entry/exit can be made to/from the country; the passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country, and Wtatil is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the passenger. 47- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using the passport of another country must consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures of the country to be traveled; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for any resulting consequences. 48- To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports; passports need to be renewed. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger. 49- Guests under 18 years old traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police officer to show a document indicating the joint consent of both parents at the country's entry-exit points; therefore, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive to this matter.
