Transylvania Pearls Tour: Unforgettable Experience for 5 Nights and 6 Days

Day 1 — Istanbul - Kapıkule

After gathering with our guests at the specified meeting points, we set off towards the Kapıkule Land Border Gate. After completing customs and passport procedures here, we enter Bulgaria.

Day 2 — Kapıkule – Bucharest – Sinaia – Bran – Brasov

After completing our border procedures in the morning by crossing through Bulgaria, we take a breakfast break on the way. After breakfast, we head towards Romania's Transylvania region. First, we visit Peleș Castle, one of the most dazzling castles in Europe. Then we proceed to the city of Bran, where we explore the mysterious Dracula Castle, which inspired the story of Count Dracula, known in Ottoman history as Vlad the Impaler. Our guests can taste the famous smoked cheese (kaşkaval) here and shop for souvenirs.

Day 3 — Brașov – Sighișoara – Turda Salt Mines - Cluj

After having breakfast at the hotel, we head to Sighișoara, one of the most beautiful towns in Transylvania. This town, which carries traces of German architecture, has been Romania's military and diplomatic center for long periods. Among the places we will visit are the Clock Tower, the Butchers' Tower, the Venetian House built in the 13th century, Dracula's House, which is currently used as a restaurant, the Horn House, and the Church. After the city tour, we proceed to the Turda Salt Mines. After exploring one of the largest salt mines in the world, we head towards Cluj, Romania's second-largest city after Bucharest.

Day 4 — Cluj – Alba Iulia - Hunedoara - Sibiu

After breakfast at the hotel, we go to the city of Alba Lulia, known as Belgrad Erdeli during the Ottoman Period. After a panoramic city tour, we head to Sibiu, which was selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2007. This city is known for its most valuable fortress built by the Saxons in the 12th century. The Sibiu Church, Brukenthal Palace, the Great Square, and the Cathedral are among the places to visit. After the city tour, we visit Hunedoara Castle, which is among the top 10 castles in the world. Built in the 15th century, this castle is largely Gothic in style and also contains Renaissance architectural elements. The castle has burned down five times throughout history.

Day 5 — Sibiu – Bucharest

After breakfast at our hotel, we head towards Romania's capital, Bucharest. Upon reaching Bucharest, known as the Paris of the East, we start our city tour. Among the places to be seen panoramically are Revolution Square, University Square, the National Theatre, the Palace of Parliament built by Ceaușescu, the Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK Statue, the Garrison Building, and the Bucharest History Museum. After the city tour, we visit the Village Museum. After some free time here, we proceed to our hotel. Guests who wish can participate in the Romanian Night organized extra in the evening (55 €). After dinner, we return to our hotel. Accommodation is at our hotel in Bucharest.

Day 6 — Bucharest – Veliko Tarnovo - Istanbul

After breakfast at our hotel, we begin our journey back to Istanbul. After leaving Romania, we enter Bulgaria and reach Veliko Tarnovo, the first capital of Bulgaria. We conduct a city tour to explore the historic city of Veliko Tarnovo, built on the Yantra River. After a panoramic city tour, we allow free time for lunch. After free time, we follow the route of Dimitrovgrad – Haskovo – Kapıkule to reach the Kapıkule Land Border Gate. After completing passport and customs procedures here, we enter Turkey. Necessary breaks are given along the route, and we arrive in Istanbul. We drop off our guests at the points specified in the tour program.
