Grand Morocco and Atlas Dream Tour (THY - From Izmir to Izmir)

Our agency ensures that we meet at the airport at a time determined one day in advance. We gather with our team at the international terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, three hours before the flight, and begin our journey. After completing our luggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Istanbul on flight number TK2303 of Turkish Airlines at 06:55. Then, we take off towards the modern face of Maghreb at 12:05 with flight number TK617 of Turkish Airlines. At 15:00 local time, we arrive at Casablanca Airport, shining on the Atlantic coast. After customs procedures, we start exploring the city with our comfortable vehicle. Our first stop is Mohammed V Square, the heart of the city, known for its architectural beauty. Next, we visit the Hassan II Mosque, which has one of the tallest minarets in the world, panoramically. We conclude our first day with a pleasant stroll in the lively Corniche area. For dinner, we will taste the flavors of Morocco and check into our hotel for accommodation. Overnight stay at our hotel in Casablanca.

After breakfast at our hotel, we set off towards Rabat, the elegant capital and administrative center of Modern Morocco. We embark on a peaceful exploration along the banks of the Bou Regreg River, surrounded by eucalyptus scents and Portuguese cork trees. Our tour begins at Kasbah Oudaya, perched on a hill overlooking the ocean, known for its blue and white streets. Then, we visit the Hassan Tower, a symbol of unfinished grandeur, and the architectural masterpiece, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, discovering the cultural fabric of the capital. In the afternoon, we change our route to the city of Tangier, the closest point between Africa and Europe. We start our tour with the Spanish Quarter, which carries European influences, and then dive into the historic Medina streets. After visiting the tomb of the famous traveler Ibn Battuta, we experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Petit Socco and Grand Socco squares, the heart of the city. We head to our waiting vehicle with the stunning view of the marina (Marsa) and check into our hotel to unwind from the day’s fatigue.

After breakfast at our hotel, we bid farewell to the fresh air of Tangier and head towards Chefchaouen, a hidden fairy tale city at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Known as the "Blue Pearl of Morocco", we take a mesmerizing walk through the blue streets of this city. We provide free time for photo opportunities in these streets, each resembling a work of art. After the blue tranquility, we head towards Fes, the cultural center of the Islamic world. Our exploration of Fes Medina begins with the stunning Bab-el Makhzen (Royal Palace Gate). Then, we delve into the depths of the Medina, the largest car-free settlement in the world with over 9,000 streets. Among our stops are the architectural wonder Attarine Medersa, the world’s oldest educational institution Karaouine University, and the pinnacle of wood craftsmanship, Nejarine Square. We experience unforgettable moments in the colorful famous Tanneries area, where traditional methods are still practiced, and in the bazaars echoing with the sounds of copper craftsmen.

After breakfast at our hotel, we set off towards the Middle Atlas Mountains to meet one of Morocco’s surprising faces. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" with its cedar forests and Alpine architecture. We take a pleasant coffee break in this modern mountain town. Then, as we continue south, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Midelt, known for its striking rock formations and colors. Later, we pause in the magnificent Ziz Valley, filled with thousands of palm trees, to capture this natural beauty in photos. At the end of the day, we reach the Merzouga Desert, beyond dreams. We settle into our special Desert Camp, promising a life under the stars at the edge of the world’s most iconic sand dunes. Here, we embark on a Camel Safari into the heart of the Sahara, watching the unique play of colors created by the setting sun over the sand dunes (guests wishing to experience this can also opt for sunrise). After dinner, we spend free time in the deep silence of the desert, enjoying the view of the Milky Way.

We start the day at our camp with the magnificent view of the sun rising over the endless sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. After breakfast in this unique scenery, we set off with the mystery of the desert on one side and the majestic view of the Atlas Mountains on the other. During our journey, we explore the famous Todra Valley, known for its deep gorges that showcase the power of nature, and the ancient water channels. Then, we pass through the "Rose City" M’gouna, famous for its fragrant gardens, and arrive at Ouarzazate, the cinema center of Morocco. Here, we visit the Atlas Film Studios, which has hosted many legendary productions. In these vast sets where globally renowned films like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy were filmed, we will feel like we are in the middle of a movie set, stepping behind the scenes of Hollywood. At the end of this discovery-filled day where history and cinema intertwine, we check into our hotel for dinner and accommodation. Overnight stay at our hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, we set off towards Ait Benhaddou, which has a timeless atmosphere and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As we explore this ancient city, resembling a labyrinth with its earth-colored adobe houses and maze-like streets, you will feel like the star of an epic film. After this enchanting stop, we cross the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and arrive at Marrakech, the soul of Morocco. We start our tour of the "Red City" with the impressive symbol of the city, the elegant Koutoubia Minaret. Then, we step into the living legend Jemaa el-Fna Square, where all the colors, sounds, and scents of Africa converge in one place. With our panoramic city tour, we will witness the energy of this square filled with street performers, snake charmers, storytellers, and open-air restaurants, touching the heart of Marrakech. After hours of exploration, we head to our hotel to have dinner and rest in the mystical atmosphere of the city. Overnight stay at our hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, our first stop is the Bahia Palace, famous for its dazzling tiles and peaceful courtyards in the Red City. Then, we dive into the depths of Marrakech Medina, which has inspired world-renowned designers, artists, and travelers since the early 1900s. Here, we explore the craft workshops and markets where medieval traditions are still vibrantly maintained, beyond the modern world. One of the most impressive moments of the day is our visit to the legendary Jardin Majorelle (Majorelle Garden), a legacy of the world-famous designer Yves Saint Laurent. In this botanical paradise where Moroccan architecture meets aesthetics, we will see unique plant species brought from all over the world and capture unforgettable photos in the iconic atmosphere created by the "Majorelle Blue". We conclude this special day, experiencing both the traditional and sophisticated sides of Marrakech, with a soul-refreshing discovery. After the tour, we transfer to the airport. Departure to Istanbul at 16:40 with Turkish Airlines flight TK620, arriving in Istanbul at 23:40 local time.

After our arrival in Istanbul, we depart for Izmir at 02:00 with flight TK2354. Arrival in Izmir at 03:10 and the end of our tour.
