Samos Tour with Visa on Arrival

We meet at Kuşadası Port (Scala Nuova) at 07:30 in the morning. After completing our passport procedures, we depart at 08:30 with our fast ferry and arrive at Vathy Port, the center of Samos Island, after an enjoyable 45-minute sea journey. On certain dates, our guide may meet you at Samos Port to join our tour from there. (Guests joining from Seferihisar will be met by our guide at Samos Port.) Note: We recommend that guests entering with a visa on arrival sit in seats close to the door on the ferry for faster processing of their procedures. Our hotel check-in time is 15:00, but earlier check-in may be possible depending on room availability. In the afternoon at 16:00, we meet at the designated point by our guide and begin to explore the enchanting atmosphere of Vathy. During our enjoyable walking tour lasting approximately 1.5 hours, we receive valuable information from our guide about the island's history, daily life, local culture, and Greek lifestyle. Together, we discover the most special corners of Vathy with its charming streets, cozy cafes, delicious restaurants, and entertainment spots. During our walk, we see the only Catholic Church on the island, which is currently abandoned. This structure, with its silence and mystical atmosphere, becomes one of our most impressive stops that shed light on Samos's multicultural past. Next, we arrive at the Lion Square, considered the heart of the city and the oldest square in Samos, which is still actively used today. After seeing the magnificent lion statue that symbolizes the square, we explore the historical buildings around it. The Town Hall and Archaeology Museum are among our important stops reflecting the island's rich history. In the final part of our tour, we complete our visit at the Themistocles Sofoulis Monument, known as one of the important figures in modern Greek history and the first President of Samos. At this meaningful point, we take unforgettable souvenir photos and fully feel the atmosphere of history and culture intertwined in Vathy. After our tour, during our free time, you can sip your coffee at sea view cafes, take a pleasant walk along the beach, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Aegean. In the evening, one of the events that best reflects the spirit of Samos awaits you. In our extra organized Taverna Night program, we join an unforgettable entertainment accompanied by live Greek music. The menu offered during the program includes unlimited uzo and wine. After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we meet at the port at 09:30 and set off to explore the island. During our tour, we first get a panoramic view of the Vathy region and receive general information about the island's settlement. Then we turn our route to Kokari, one of the most photogenic spots on the island. After our guide gives information while touring the area panoramically, free time is offered here. Guests can enjoy the turquoise sea, take a walk along the beach, or capture great photos with postcard views. Our next stop is Pythagorion, known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras. In this area, which enchants with its historical texture and coastal atmosphere, we tour with our guide; we receive information about Samos Castle, the Transfiguration Church, and the famous Blue Street. After a short walk in the port area, we take a photo break in front of the Pythagoras Monument. Then, free time is offered for a pleasant meal at one of the region's most popular restaurants by the sea. You will have the opportunity to try fresh seafood and the flavors of Greek cuisine. On the way back, we make a short shopping stop at Lidl, one of Europe's largest chain markets. Here, you can find both affordable products and local flavors.

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we check out of our rooms. You can leave your luggage at our hotel and enjoy the last moments in Samos as you wish until the ferry time. For those interested, an Optional Private Boat Tour, one of the island's most special experiences, is organized. Departing from Vathy Port, our boat, with a maximum capacity of 20 people, embarks on a unique blue voyage lasting approximately 4 hours. While enjoying swimming breaks in pristine bays that are inaccessible by land, we have the opportunity to see the undiscovered natural beauties of Samos from the sea. At the designated time, we meet at Vathy Port and proceed to the passport control line for our return journey. After our passport procedures, we give a short free time for shopping at the Free Shop. Then we board our ferry and, after an enjoyable 45-minute sea journey, arrive in Kuşadası, concluding our tour with beautiful memories.
