We gather at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Departure Terminal at the time notified by our agency a day before, at the AJET Airlines counter. After completing ticket, baggage, and customs procedures, we begin our journey. We take off at 14:50 with flight VF1001 towards the capital of Serbia, where history and modernity meet. Our first stop will be the magnificent Petrovaradin Fortress, which rises in a dominant position overlooking the Danube River, where we can view the city from a panoramic angle. After a photo break here, we head to the city center of Novi Sad, where Albert Einstein also lived for a time. During our walking tour, we will see places such as Liberty Square, Svetozar Miletić Statue, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox St. George Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, and Synagogue as panoramic sights. After the tour, we provide a pleasant free time in the streets famous for their characteristic restaurants and cafes. Our next stop is the town of Sremski Karlovci (Karlofça), which holds significant importance in Turkish history. This town, a cultural treasure dating back to 7000 BC, hosts the City Council, Catholic Church, and the famous Four Lions Fountain. However, what makes this place particularly important for us is that it is where the Treaty of Karlovci was signed, marking the first major territorial loss for the Ottoman Empire. After completing ticket, baggage, and passport procedures at the airport, we fly to Izmir at 15:45 with AJET Airlines flight VF1002. We arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 19:15 local time, concluding this enjoyable Balkan adventure.
