On the 1st day of our Unique Flight-Inclusive Batumi Tbilisi Kars Erzurum Eastern Express Tour departing from Izmir, after meeting our esteemed guests at Adnan Menderes Airport in the morning, we complete our check-in procedures for the airline's Trabzon flight with ID card and driver's license.(Note: Your guide will meet you at Trabzon airport.) After approximately a 1.5-hour flight, we arrive at Trabzon Airport, meet our waiting vehicle and guide, and begin our tour. After our optional breakfast break, our visit to the Çeçeva Village Tea Gardens in Çayeli district of Rize province will be conducted with local minibuses. (Extra) Here, we visit the endless tea gardens where many tea brands' series, films, and commercials are shot. After our tour, we enter Batumi, located where the Çoruh River flows into the Black Sea, at the Sarp Border Gate connected to Georgia from Hopa. After completing our border crossing procedures, we re-board our vehicle and first see the Gonio Fortress, located in a small coastal town, panoramically. Here, we watch the Çoruh River from under the stone bridge Gonio Bridge, which carries Ahalsopeli and Adlia, and take a short photo break for the legendary Upside-Down House. After our break, we listen to the story of the Medea Statue, which rises to the sky in Europe Square, showing the mythological face of the Caucasus, and then proceed to Piazza Square. This square, one of Batumi's most beautiful spots, resembles the squares of European cities. After gathering information in the square, which offers a pleasant atmosphere with the scent of fresh coffee filling the air, we visit the Saint Nicholas Church, belonging to the Orthodox denomination. The church, built during the Ottoman Empire period, is actively used. We visit the golden-colored Poseidon Statue in Theater Square and take a photo break. We visit the Theater Building and the Cathedral of the Mother of God. We see the Alphabet Tower, where we can see the Georgian Alphabet, one of the 14 writing systems in the world, and the Ali and Nino Statue, whose love stories have been the subject of films and books, and then settle into our hotel in Batumi for accommodation. Guests who wish can visit the hotel's Casino and try their luck. Dinner is not included in the tour price for this evening's accommodation. Guests who do not wish to participate in the Batumi Night can have dinner at their own expense. 

Note: As per the agreement between the Republic of Turkey and Georgia, Turkish citizens can enter Batumi with a New Photo ID Card containing a Turkish ID number or a Passport. Entry is not possible with other ID cards (driver's license, institutional IDs, etc.). Guests under 18 years of age who will not be traveling with their family (both mother and father simultaneously) must obtain a NOTARIZED CONSENT LETTER for their entry to BATUMI. It is mandatory for all ID cards, including those for infants and children, to have a photo.

ATTENTION! As of 01.01.2026, it has become mandatory for every Turkish citizen entering Georgian territory to have valid international travel health insurance. The insurance amount must have a minimum coverage of 30,000 EUR and can be presented in physical or electronic format.

ATTENTION: DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE YOUR TURKISH ID CARD WITH YOU WHEN TRAVELING. THE EXIT FEE OF 1250 TL IS PAID BY THE GUEST. OFFICIALLY, AS OF 01.09.2019, ENTRY TO GEORGIA WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE WITH OLD ID CARDS.

event Day 2 — Georgia Parliament, Kashveti Church, Georgian National Museum, Tbilisi Opera and...

On the 2nd day of our Unique Flight-Inclusive Batumi Tbilisi Kars Erzurum Eastern Express Tour departing from Izmir, after having breakfast at our hotel in Batumi, we first pass near Kutaisi, Georgia's second-largest city, then near Gori, where Josef Stalin's birthplace is located, and reach the capital Tbilisi. The Parliament of Georgia, Kashveti Church, Simon Janashia Museum (part of the Georgian National Museum), Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Rustaveli State Academic Theatre, Rustaveli Museum, and the Georgian Academy of Sciences are located on the boulevard. Freedom Square, where the avenue begins, was once adorned with a Lenin Statue. After seeing this avenue panoramically, we proceed to Narikala Fortress and the Bath Quarter. After seeing the famous baths mentioned by Pushkin, we take the cable car up to the location of the Kartlis Deda (Mother of Georgia) statue. Then we go to Tbilisi's famous David Agmashenebeli (Marjanishvili) Avenue, known for its restored houses. After having lunch here, we see the Sameba Monastery, whose construction began in 1995 as a symbol of Georgian revival, unity, and immortality, and after a coffee break and rest at Kartlis Deda (Mother of Georgia) with our guests who wish, a Georgian night awaits you with a special menu consisting of Georgian dishes. On the 3rd day of our Unique Flight-Inclusive Batumi Tbilisi Kars Erzurum Eastern Express Tour departing from Izmir, we have breakfast at our hotel in Tbilisi in the morning, concluding our Georgia trip, and head towards the Turkish border gate of Posof Türkgözü. We set off towards Kars, accompanied by the Kura River, which originates from the Kars plateaus. Passing through Borjomi, a natural wonder full of medieval castles and one of the key points of the Baku – Tbilisi - Ceyhan Pipeline project, then to Akhaltsikhe, a city densely populated by Abkhazian Turks, we reach the Posof Türkgözü border gate between Georgia and our province of Ardahan, where we complete our Free Shop shopping and begin our Kars Tour. Kars, which was left to the Ottomans by the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk after the Bolshevik Revolution in 1918, was the capital of the Armenian Dynasty. It was later conquered by Sultan Alparslan in 1064 after a 25-day siege. We reach the breathtaking Ani Ruins (Extra), where we visit the Church of the Redeemer, built in 1215 by Tigran Honents, a merchant from Ani; the Great Cathedral, whose foundations were laid by Bagratid King Sembat II in 990 AD but completed by his wife Queen Katranide in 1001 after his death; and the Menuçehr Mosque, built by Abu'l Menuçehr Bey in 1072 and holding the distinction of being the first Turkish Mosque in Anatolia. After finishing our visits, we head to Kars. We then proceed to a shop where we can purchase local products such as the famous Kars gruyere and Kars cheese. After a presentation and tasting of Kars cheese, we complete our shopping and check into our hotel. Guests who wish can participate in the essential Caucasian Night and Minstrel Show program of Kars, where we can experience the regional culture and taste local foods. Dinner is not included in the tour price for this evening's accommodation. Guests who do not wish to participate in the Caucasian Night can have dinner at their own expense.

NOTE: If all guests agree, a Lake Çıldır Horse Sleigh Ride will be conducted instead of the Ani Ruins.

On the 4th day of our Unique Flight-Inclusive Batumi Tbilisi Kars Erzurum Eastern Express Tour departing from Izmir, after having our last breakfast at our hotel in Kars, we depart for the train station at 08:00 AM for our waiting Eastern Express train journey, heading towards Erzurum. We enjoy our approximately 4-5 hour train journey with magnificent views. We arrive in Erzurum, which was connected to the Ottoman Empire by Yavuz Sultan Selim in 1517 and serves as a gateway to Anatolia. During the lunch break in Erzurum, you will have the opportunity to taste the famous Cağ Kebab and Kadayıf Dolması. After observing the Twin Minaret Madrasah, built by Alaattin Keykubat's daughter Hundi Hatun or Padişah Hatun from the Ilkhanid dynasty, from the outside, we visit the Grand Mosque, built in 1179 during the reign of Saltuklu Melik Nasirüddin Muhammed Bey's period. Then, at Taş Han, built in 1561 by Rüstem Pasha, Grand Vizier and son-in-law of Suleiman the Magnificent, after shopping for Oltu Stone, known to be good for rheumatic pains and significantly strengthening the nervous system, we head towards Erzurum Airport. policy Cancellation Policy

Guests who register for the tour have the right to free cancellation up to 30 days before the tour. If there are less than 30 days until the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if there are 20 days or less, a 100% penalty applies. If a participant requests cancellation due to health reasons, they must submit a report (signed by the Chief Physician) obtained from State Hospitals in Turkey. Note: For flight-inclusive programs, as cancellation cannot be made by the airline, reservation cancellation and refund are not possible.

TOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Our tour duration is 3 nights and 4 days. Hotel accommodation is for 3 nights.
Child discounts may apply when accompanied by two adults.
Our guide may alter the itinerary while ensuring the full completion of the program. Our tours are a whole package including hotel, bus, flight tour program, and guiding services, and cannot be considered separately.
For children aged 0-6, a bed may not be provided during hotel accommodation.
For bus tours, children aged 00-1.99 are not charged. If a seat is requested for children, the 02-06 age child price applies.
In triple rooms, the 3rd bed may not be as comfortable as a standard bed. Depending on the situation, the hotel may provide guests with a rollaway bed or a sofa bed. It is mandatory for every individual aged 2 and above to occupy a seat on the bus. Unused transportation, accommodation, sightseeing tours, etc., within the tour are non-refundable.
Seat assignments cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking. Seat numbers are determined by the reservation date order. Guests who purchase the tour early are entitled to sit in the front.
A tiered pricing system applies to all tours. As tour occupancy increases, tour prices also increase. Guests cannot claim the difference in price changes after the purchase date.
For flight-inclusive tours, GEZİ TUTKUNLARI reserves the right to change the airport, airline, and flight time due to density and provided the program is not disrupted. In case of airport changes, GEZİ TUTKUNLARI is obliged to provide free shuttle service to its guests.
Extra Tours operate based on the number of participants. If an extra tour does not take place, the guest is not entitled to compensation. In this case, GEZİ TUTKUNLARI has no responsibility. Extra Tour prices may change. In this case, the date the tour departs is considered, not the date the guest purchased the tour. The extra tour price valid during the tour period will apply. The guest has purchased the tour accepting this condition.
The times specified in the tour program are calculated based on normal weather and road conditions, and in case of possible delays, GEZİ TUTKUNLARI is not responsible, and the guest has no right to compensation.
Changes may be made to tour accommodation regions and hotels, provided they are of the same standard, depending on availability. All room assignments are made by hotel authorities, and GEZİ TUTKUNLARI has no authority in this regard.
Accommodations in Weekend Overnight Tours adhere to city hotel standards. Hotels are not obliged to offer local cuisine; they serve as set menus or open buffets.
Due to the intensity of the program during tours, it may not always be possible to find ATMs, currency exchange offices, etc., so it is beneficial for our guests to be prepared for this situation.
Economical menus specific to the region have been created for lunch. During lunch and dinner, tables are assigned to groups depending on regional density.
GEZİ TUTKUNLARI is not responsible for tours that cannot be carried out due to adverse weather conditions before or during the tour.
The minimum number of participants for this tour is foreseen as 30. GEZİ TUTKUNLARI reserves the right to cancel the tour by giving 3 days' notice if there is not a sufficient majority.
In case of tour cancellation, GEZİ TUTKUNLARI must personally notify the cancellation. As this is a legal process, there is no right to compensation.
Museum and archaeological site entrance fees are not included in the prices.
GEZİ TUTKUNLARI reserves the right to change hotels to an equivalent or higher category, provided the star rating remains the same.
Please ensure you take all your belongings with you when leaving the vehicles and hotels used during the trip; GEZİ TUTKUNLARI is not responsible for lost items.
For flight-inclusive programs, as cancellation cannot be made by the airline, cancellation and refund are not possible.

Details of the insurance coverage provided free of charge to all our guests by our agency; it covers the agency's bankruptcy or the inability to provide Package Tour services for any reason.
