Batumi and Ayder Plateau Flight Tour - Trip Starting and Ending in Rize

We gather at the meeting point at the time notified by our agency one day prior. We depart from Izmir to Rize - Artvin (RZV) with PEGASUS AIRLINES flight number PC3270 at 08:45. We arrive at Rize - Artvin (RZV) airport at local time 10:35 and proceed to our tour vehicle with our guide. After an (extra) breakfast break, we progress along the Fırtına Stream accompanied by the waves of the Black Sea. We take a photo break at the Historical Stone Bridges that reflect the region's historical structure, immortalizing this unique atmosphere. Afterwards, we head towards the fairytale Ayder Plateau located above the clouds. After witnessing the view of the Gelin Tülü Waterfall like a white blanket offered by nature, we allow free time for you to breathe in the plateau air and spend time in nature. After enjoyable moments at the plateau, we change our route towards the Sarp Border Gate. After completing the necessary customs procedures, we enter Batumi, the modern face of the Caucasus. In the evening, we check into our hotel where we will be staying. As the night progresses, guests who wish can try their luck at Batumi's famous Casino and entertainment venues; those who prefer can explore the illuminated streets, modern architecture, and Batumi nights along the coast. After breakfast at our hotel, we start the day with the opportunities offered by Batumi. Guests who wish can relax by utilizing the hotel's amenities, while those interested can join our meeting in the lobby to explore this enchanting city with our guide. The first stop of our city tour will be the Batumi Botanical Garden, located in the north of Batumi. We take a peaceful walk among more than 5,000 plant species, including 2,000 trees, in this vast area recognized as one of the largest botanical parks in the world. Then, we head towards the Makunseti Waterfall, one of nature's hidden beauties where we will feel the coolness of the Black Sea. We complete our nature tour with a factory visit at the Adjara Wine House, famous for its visual architecture and vineyards. In the afternoon, we continue to discover Batumi's cultural riches. First, we visit the Saint Andrew Statue, believed to bring luck to married couples, and proceed along the Gonio Beaches. During our panoramic tour, we greet the Çoruh River, which flows from our lands to the sea, and the historic Gönye Castle as we reach Batumi Center. In our walking tour in the city center, we color our day by visiting the Middle Mosque, the architecturally impressive Piazza Tower, Russian and Armenian Orthodox Churches, the central European Square, the Golden Fleece Statue with its mythological story, Poseidon Square, the symbol of love Ali and Nino Statue, and the lush Batumi Boulevard Park. After the tour, we return to our hotel. In the evening, we gather with guests who wish to experience an unforgettable evening; we feel the spirit of Batumi by participating in the famous Georgian Night program filled with the flavors of Georgian cuisine and traditional dance performances. After breakfast at our hotel, we give you free time until the hour determined by our guide to enjoy Batumi one last time. Saying goodbye to Batumi, which fascinates us with its castle-like magnificent hotels and aesthetic public buildings, we head towards the Sarp Border Gate. After completing our border procedures, we re-enter our country. While continuing our journey, we will conduct the (extra) Çayeli-Ağaran Waterfall Tour with guests who wish to witness the beauties of nature. (Weather conditions and sufficient participation required). We take our last photos against the magnificent view of the Ağaran Waterfall, which inspires poets' verses and is beyond words with its grandeur and elegance. Then, we visit the workshops of Rize Cloth, one of the region's important handicrafts, to learn about this culture and have the opportunity to buy traditional souvenirs for our loved ones. During our lunch break, we visit the Famous Dried Beans Restaurant, a must-try of the Black Sea cuisine that will leave a lasting taste. After this unique culinary stop, we head towards the airport. We begin our return journey to Izmir with PEGASUS AIRLINES flight number PC3271 at 18.25 . We arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at local time 20.35, bidding farewell with the beautiful memories we have collected. We hope to meet again on another tour!
