Day 1: Samsun - Skopje – Belgrade
We meet in front of the Ajet Airlines counter at Samsun Çarşamba Airport, 3 hours before the flight time. We fly directly from Samsun to Skopje at 23:55 on Ajet Airlines flight VF4278. After approximately two hours of comfortable travel, we arrive in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, at 01:25. After completing the entry procedures, we head to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, with our private vehicle waiting for us. Throughout history, Belgrade has been one of the important cultural and strategic centers of the Balkans, attracting attention with its vibrant atmosphere and historical texture. In this enchanting city, we will have the opportunity to explore the intersection of Ottoman and European cultures.
Day 2: Belgrade – Srebrenica – Sarajevo
After breakfast, we head towards Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During our journey, we will first stop in Srebrenica. At this stop, we will see the traces of the tragic events that occurred during the Bosnian War, which was the first documented genocide in Europe. Upon reaching Sarajevo, we will commemorate the historical events that led to the outbreak of World War I in 1914 in this city, known as the cultural capital of the Balkans. We will also remember the conflicts that occurred between Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks during the 1992 war.
Day 3: Sarajevo - Mostar - Blagaj - Počitelj - Medugorje
After breakfast, we set off from Sarajevo. Our first stop is Mostar, known for its historical and cultural riches. Here, we will see the Mostar Bridge, built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, which is one of the important works of Ottoman architecture. This bridge was destroyed in 1992 but was rebuilt in 2004 with the support of Turkey. After exploring the enchanting atmosphere of Mostar, we will visit the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Then we head towards Blagaj. Blagaj is the birthplace of the Buna River, the strongest water source in Europe. After a short free time here, we will visit Počitelj, which is preserved with its historical texture.
Day 4: Medugorje – Kotor – Budva – Sv.Stefan – Shkodra
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head towards the impressive Kotor. During our journey, you will enjoy the magnificent views. Upon reaching Kotor, in this medieval town famous for the fjords of the Balkans, we will feel the historical atmosphere of the narrow streets and the old city during our walking tour, and you will discover the heart of Kotor. With its unique architecture and sea view, this small town will take you on a journey through time. Afterwards, we arrive in Budva. We start our city tour in Budva, one of the popular holiday destinations in the Balkans. During this walking tour, we will explore the magnificent beaches and vibrant nightlife.
Day 5: Shkodra – Tirana – Elbasan – Sveti Naum – Ohrid
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head towards Tirana, the capital of Albania. In this beautiful city, rich in historical and cultural aspects, an impressive tour awaits us where we will explore Tirana, considered the center of Bektashism. Upon our arrival in Tirana, we visit the Ethem Bey Mosque, one of the important symbols of the city. This structure, whose construction began in 1789 and was completed in 1923, is one of Albania's cultural heritages. We take a short break at Skanderbeg Square, where we see the statue of Skanderbeg proudly rising in the center of the square. Additionally, the Clock Tower, which is the symbol of Tirana, is also one of the important points of our tour.
Day 6: Ohrid – Resne – Bitola – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After breakfast, we start our tour of Resne and Bitola, famous for their nature and historical riches. Our first stop in Resne will be to see the Palace of Resneli Niyazi Bey, a significant figure in Balkan history, panoramically. Resne offers a captivating atmosphere with both its nature and Ottoman traces. After a short break here, we head towards Bitola, which was once one of the important cultural and trade centers of the Ottoman Empire. Upon reaching Bitola, we will visit the Military High School, where the great leader Atatürk studied, and the Atatürk Museum from the outside. In this magical city, we will also see Ottoman-era structures such as the Turkish Bazaar, Bedesten, Ishak Pasha Mosque, and the New Mosque.
Day 7: Skopje – Matka Canyon – Pristina – Prizren – Skopje
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head towards Matka Canyon, accompanied by lush mountains. Are you ready to explore Matka Canyon, located among the enchanting forests and vast pastures of Vodno Mountain? This natural wonder, covering approximately 5,000 hectares, will take you to mystical monasteries from the Middle Ages and serene lake views.
