Download Itinerary (PDF)Day 1 — Izmir - Ihlara - Underground City - Uçhisar - Devrent - Ürgüp
Dear guests; After welcoming you at the specified stops on Friday night, we start our journey with the comfortable buses of GEZİ TUTKUNLARI.
In the morning, we have a breakfast break at a rest area in Aksaray (Extra). After breakfast, we reach the Ihlara Valley, historically known as Peristremma, which has been shaped by the Melendiz River over thousands of years, with a length of 14 km. (If Ihlara Valley is closed for renovation and restoration, the monastery, church, and wine cellars around Selimiye Cathedral will be visited.)
After a panoramic tour in the valley, we take photos of the unique geographical formations of the region and head to the Underground City (Kaymaklı, Derinkuyu, Saratlı, etc.), one of the important settlements where the first Christians took refuge during the Roman period. With its 7-story structure and a depth of about 60 meters, this impressive structure offers an unforgettable experience.
After our visit to the underground city, we head towards Uçhisar, see Uçhisar Castle panoramically, and take a photo break in Pigeon Valley. After a short free time with tastings of local products in the region, we have the opportunity to view the Cappadocia landscape from a bird's eye view.
Then we proceed to Avanos for lunch (extra). After the meal break, we visit Paşabağ Valley, also known as the Valley of Monks. This area, famous for its mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys, is among the most striking natural formations in Cappadocia.
Our next stop is Dervent Valley. After photographing the interesting shapes created by rocks and fairy chimneys over time, we learn about the wine production workshops in the region famous for its vineyards.
Then we reach Ürgüp and give free time. Guests who wish can visit the mansion where Asmalı Konak was filmed, or taste and shop for local products at the Turasan winery.
At the end of the day, we see the Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys panoramically and check into our hotel. Dinner and accommodation take place at our hotel.
Guests who wish can participate in the Traditional Turkish Night event organized with our guide (extra). An unforgettable evening awaits you with unlimited appetizers, snacks, and drinks, along with dance performances and stage shows.
Day 2 — Göreme Open Air Museum - ATV Tour - Sultanhanı Caravanserai
Dear guests; We greet the new day in the land of beautiful horses and head to the balloon launch area at sunrise (Included in the Price) to enjoy the unique view and/or experience a balloon ride.
After breakfast at our hotel, we take an approximately 1-hour safari tour with ATV vehicles among the fairy chimneys (extra). After this enjoyable tour in Cappadocia's enchanting geography, we visit our workshop, one of the centers of pottery art with a history of about 3,800 years. Here, we receive information about the production process from our masters, and guests who wish can have the opportunity to experience pottery making firsthand.
Then we head to the Göreme Open Air Museum. After visiting St. Basil, St. Barbara, Elmalı, Yılanlı, Dining Hall, and Çarıklı churches with our guide, we have free time for lunch (extra).
After the meal break, we say goodbye to Cappadocia and start our return journey. On the way, we visit the Sultanhanı Caravanserai, one of the largest caravanserais in Anatolia.
